For the first April Spatial Awareness transmission, we have a very special treat for the freaks. All the way from the big apple to our little couch-laden living room in Fishtown, we welcome DJ, artist, and producer Hpin for a heady 3-hour set in the lounge.

Hpin was a “must book” recommendation from friend, and prior spatial contributor, Goyle, who is also co-S Label founder with Hpin. The two have released an array of deep tripped-out sounds through the label, dipping into reflections of Dub, Techno, and various sonic experimental caverns.

“HPIN is an artist and owner of Selah, a female domestic longhair calico, approximately 6 years of age (born April 14). As of her most recent veterinary exam, she is current on all core vaccinations, following updated Rabies and FVRCP (Distemper) shots with no outstanding medical concerns noted. She presents in good body condition, alert, well-groomed, and behaviorally well-adjusted to her home environment. Seasonal habits to note include seeking warmth near radiators during cold months and avoiding loud air conditioning units during warmer periods. She maintains a strong bond with her owners and demonstrates stable temperament with no observed behavioral abnormalities.”

Join us at The Sound Lounge this Thursday, April 2nd, from 9-12 PM. Hpin is the DJ all night. The door is a $10- $20 suggested sliding-scale donation; no one turned away. Percy’s drinks, and late-night snack menu will be available all night.
