From 2007-2020, DJ Mario Cotto spent virtually every single Saturday night in the basement studios of KCRW in Santa Monica, broadcasting his Psychedelic Service to listeners worldwide from midnight to 3 am PST. He’s played festivals, warehouses, bars, restaurants, weddings, and basements. He’s opened for various artists, including New Order & Moby. Not hemmed in by any specific genre, his is a decidedly eclectic mix of punchy dance music, new music of various genres, psychedelic rock, 70s AM gold, 80s synth, eccentric world music, and ambient freakouts.

Take A Trip is another exploration of this notion; it’s not about the destination…it’s how we get there. *And I promise a fine time.
